BCG is supporting the world's largest principal investors & private equity (PI) firms with the full spectrum of services covering the entire value chain from transaction services to transformative profit improvement programs for portfolio companies to strategy and operations work for the funds themselves. We are organized into six distinct sectors: Private Equity, Sovereign Wealth Funds (SWFs), Pension Funds, Hedge Funds, Family Offices and Infrastructure & Real Estate.

What You'll Do

BCG’s Principal Investors & Private Equity (PIPE) practice supports the world’s leading investors and funds with a full spectrum of services—covering the entire investment value chain from transaction support and due diligence to portfolio acceleration, value creation, and fund strategy and operations.

The PIPE practice operates globally across all industries and asset classes and serves six investor segments: Private Equity, Sovereign Wealth Funds, Pension Funds, Hedge Funds, Family Offices, and Infrastructure & Real Estate.

Our Copenhagen team is part of the fast-growing Nordic PIPE platform, partnering with leading investors and management teams to drive lasting impact and create value across industries.

At BCG PIPE , you’ll work with the largest private equity funds and corporate investors, solving high-impact strategic and operational challenges across a wide range of industries.

You’ll gain exposure to both deal-side and post-acquisition work—from identifying investment opportunities and assessing market potential to driving hands-on transformation in portfolio companies.

You will help investors and management teams define winning strategies, create sustainable value, and accelerate growth—while learning from some of the most experienced PE and industry specialists in the market.

What You'll Bring

We are looking for exceptional talent to join our growing team. You would typically:

• Have ~5+ years of experience in top-tier strategy consulting, investment/transaction services, corporate M&A, or fund/portfolio roles
• Have proven ability to manage multiple client and stakeholder relationships, and to build trust at senior levels
• Bring a track record in commercial due diligence, technology due diligence, growth strategy, or value-creation/portfolio acceleration, ideally with exposure to Technology, Health Care, or Industrial Goods
• Demonstrate strong analytical problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills, with comfort engaging senior executives
• Be a collaborative team player with a positive attitude, high ethical standards, and international experience

Who You'll Work With

As a senior consultant or Manager in our Copenhagen PIPE team, you will:

• Work with global and Nordic private equity clients on commercial, operational, and technology-driven due diligence and value-creation projects
• Lead or contribute to project teams, ensuring day-to-day execution and close collaboration with client executives
• Lead client presentations and executive sessions, synthesizing and communicating insights and recommendations
• Collaborate directly with BCG and client teams—often on-site—bringing structure, conceptual frameworks, and thought leadership to guide analysis and decision-making
• Develop insights that inform investment decisions, portfolio strategies, and post-deal transformations
• Travel is expected and will vary based on project needs.
