The Opportunity The Regional Director of Sales – Lifestyle, Americas has direct oversight of the topline sales operations of multiple full-service (managed) hotels. They provide strategic leadership and develop sales plans, forecasts, and goal‑setting targets. They motivate hotel teams and drive results through effective communication and development of business strategies. They support hiring and performance accountability. They establish bold protocols and inspire change and innovation. They collaborate across teams, regions, and functions within a highly matrixed organization. Responsibilities Interface directly with owners, property teams, and regional teams. Engage closely with properties to ensure the Strategic Revenue Plan aligns with ownership expectations. Liaise between property and corporate teams to activate corporate commercial resources. Assist in establishing and refining the Strategic Revenue Plan, cross‑over goals, topline revenue generation strategy, and team deployment. Drive performance to a stabilized level with continuous improvement and owner satisfaction. Account for revenue and sales objectives of multiple hotels within the region/segment. Assist in developing product‑type standards and managing the sales force planning. Oversee budget and forecast strategies and conduct MORs and audits for accurate financial reporting. Represent Hyatt at select ownership meetings and provide market intelligence on new Hyatt products. Qualifications Minimum 10‑15 years of hotel sales experience. Minimum 5‑10 years in a Director of Sales or similar team leadership role with success in developing and executing the sales strategy. Strong knowledge of pre‑opening experience and ramp process. High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint) and Hyatt (or comparable) CRM, event management, and RFP systems. Ability to travel, primarily domestically, throughout the assigned territory/region – approximately 60%. Experience within a Hyatt‑branded full‑service hotel is preferred.
