Purpose of the role

MHIRJs network of service centers, support offices and parts depots are positioned in important aviation hubs in the U.S.TheQuality ControlCrew Chiefis responsible forensuring all airworthiness quality requirements are performed and documentedin accordance withall applicable regulationsin regard tomaintenance, preventative maintenance, repair and alteration ofaircraft,engineandaircraftcomponents/parts for which the Repair Station is rated.

Here are the daily responsibilities ofaQuality ControlCrew Chief:

• Conduct weighing procedurein accordance withmanufacturers recommended practices and procedures

• Upon A/C arrival, obtain associated documentation, complete A/Crecordsand document receipt

• Coordinate inspection activities in compliance with computer tracking maintenance programs (i.e.CAMPS, AVTRAC)

• Perform inspections ofaircraft, engines, parts and components using precision tools,equipmentand other materialsin accordance withapplicable regulatory requirements

• Upon receipt, perform inspection of all new,repairedand rebuilt parts/components for evidence for physical damage,countand conformity

• Ensure all work packages (orders and forms) as well as records of arrival, maintenance and corrective actions performed, are documented accurately and that all specialized customer (RED, RFE & SRPSA) and regulatory paperwork (FAA, FAR/CAA,etc) is complete andrequiredapprovals have been obtained

• Researchaircraftdrawings and technical data (i.e., REO, ENICO, EO. DCN)

• Perform walk around inspection ofaircraftfor release from maintenance

• Perform return to service process and ensure assignedaircraftmeets all airworthiness requirements prior to return to service

• Provide data to customers as requested

Here is what isrequiredto succeed:

• You have a minimum of 5 yearsaircraftmaintenance experience or substantiated equivalent experience

• You have a minimum of 3 years of corporate / commercial jet experience

• You have a basic set of hand tools with the ability todemonstrateInventory & control of tools

• You have A&P Certification

• Youhave the ability touse a variety of measuring and basic hand tools to interpret/operatetest equipment

• Youhave the ability tointerpret/ process all relative (foreign & domestic) regulatory documents,actionsand requirements

• You have working knowledge of (FAA Regs, CAA. RSM/QCM, ADs, SBs, TCDS,etc)

• You have working knowledge of return-to-service procedures

• Youhave the ability totrain, coach and mentor employees in performance of their duties in areas of qualification

• You havedemonstratedplanning / organization skills

• Mustbe comfortable with shift work; we are a 24/7 operation with 12-hour shifts which include days, nights, and weekends.

• Position requires full-time presence at ourBridgeport, WVfacility with on-site collaboration essential to role success
